Well, I don’t know what to believe. Should I order from Drugstore.com or not. Here’s what some customers of Drugstore.com say at Epinions. Here’s what they say at ResellerRatings. Overall, it seems like Drugstore.com suffers from poor customer service and bad shipping. I have not tried the service out and I’m really hesitant. However, they have some cheap prices on various products I’m interested in. We’ll see.

  • HP, We Have A Built-In Webcam Problem

So, I spent four hours on my $2,000 HP laptop (dv2500/dv2660se) trying to fix the built-in webcam. It just stopped working. Did I do something wrong? I purchased my laptop a couple of months ago and to be honest, I love my laptop. However, this built-in webcam problem is a frustrating problem to have after you have spent $2,000 and tried every fix known to man. I updated the drivers, uninstalled the webcam and did so much more to get this webcam to work. Also, I did not know this was a popular problem among the buyers who bought a HP laptop with a built-in webcam. I’m pretty sure HP has received hundreds of calls from frustrated customers and there’s still no guaranteed fix for this nagging problem.

Here are the places I went for help. These fixes worked for some people, but for me, none of these fixes worked.

    1. This solution did not work

    2. This solution did not work

    3. This solution did not work, but many people found success with this fix

    4. This solution did not work

    5. This solution did not work. This fix is supposely from someone from the HP Pavilion support team

As of right now, I have a $2,000 product that’s not completely working.

  • Is This An iPhone Apps Scam?

Wait a minute, I always thought the iTunes App Store was the only place allowed to sell iPhone apps. This website iPhoneApps.org is selling some iPhone apps in a bundle for a round $25, but can they do this? Is this website a scam? Right now, to play it safe, only buy your iPhone apps only from the iTunes App Store until Apple makes it clear who is authorize to sell apps for the iPhone.

Thanks goes to Gizmodo for warning me.

  • My .ME Celebration Just Ended

Well, I was celebrating because I had registered this 3 letter .me domain name, which was available when I searched for it at GoDaddy.com. I paid for it with my credit card and everything went through nice and easy. But, that dreadful email just hit my inbox.

Read below. I changed the domain name and other important information to blah blah and the words three letter to protect myself.

    Dear blah blah,

The following domain name has failed to be registered:

    “three letter”.ME

Error: “three letter”.ME: cannot register - already registered

We will evaluate this error and retry the registration
    if appropriate.

If we are unable to successfully register the domain
name, your account will be credited accordingly. Please
allow one business day for the refund to be processed.

Please contact GoDaddy.com, Inc. if you need any further
    assistance:

    Sincerely,

However, I’m not angry at GoDaddy because they have been pretty good to me so far. So, we’ll all have to give them a chance to correct this information.
