Who Wants Free Ringtones?

First, let me say a big Thank You to Chris Pirillo for telling everyone about this new free ringtone website. Everyone visit Audiko.net and get free ringtones for your mobile phone (it works with any mobile phone including the new iphone). This is how it works, you’ll upload your favorite song or enter a url of where your favorite song is located and Audiko will download the song for you. If that’s not enough, Audiko already has a list of popular songs on their website (old and new), where you can download the songs instantly to your mobile phone or you can just search for your favorite song from their database. This is completely free and works very well.

  • UPS & A Virus Warning

I just received this email about 2 minutes ago from UPS.

“We have become aware there is a fraudulent e-mail being sent that says it is coming from UPS and leads the reader to believe that a UPS shipment could not be delivered. The reader is advised to open an attachment reportedly containing a waybill for the shipment to be picked up.

This e-mail attachment contains a virus. We recommend that you do not open the attachment, but delete the e-mail immediately.”

Just letting everyone know, so they don’t be harmed by this virus.

  • What Is XSketch?

Have you heard of XSketch? Lets just call it an online multiplayer pictionary game. I think up to 9 people can play against each other in one room.

Let me say, I’m addicted and you must try it out. Trust me, after you play it, you’ll be addicted.

  • What Is AVCHD?

What does it stand for? AVCHD stands for Advanced Video Codec High Definition. It’s a high definition format created for the camcorder. The technology in AVCHD allows for high definition video to be compressed while recording with a camcorder. AVCHD allows the compressed video to be saved on a hard drive inside of the camcorder.

This is a new format, so many camcorder companies are still learning about this new format and how it works.

AVCHD may be the new standard format in the next generation of HD camcorders.

  • We All Need CCleaner

If you don’t have CCleaner you better download it. CCleaner is a free privacy tool that removes and permanently deletes files from computer system. Information like temporary files, index.dat, url history, cookies, log files and more can be deleted permanently with CCleaner. The best thing about CCleaner is its secure file erasing tool that overwrites any files before deletion, making it no way possible to recover that data. So, if the government is coming to your house to check your computer, CCleaner will delete any information permanently that even the goverment can’t recover.

I love this program! I always use the secure file deletion “DOD 5220.22-M (3 passes)” that overwrites my files 3 times.

  • GoodSync

GoodSync is simple program that backs up all your files, photos and more to any destination you desire. If you have a lot of important files, important photos or just critical documents on your computer, you’ll need a simple program like GoodSync that makes backing up your files effortless.

It’s really an easy back-up program anyone can use. I have used it and it does an excellent job of backing up all of my files and directories. The only problem I have with GoodSync is it’s not completely free. After like 30 days of use you’ll have to pay $29.95. I like free stuff! I have not decided if I’ll pay or not.
